Holy Land Experience 2017

CCV offers you the opportunity to join Dr. Don and Sue Wilson on a tour of the Holy Land and country side of Israel.  

The following are areas planned to visit:  Netanya, Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth, Capernaum, Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Mount of Beatitudes, location of Feeding the 4000, Fisherman Boat Museum, Sea of Galilee, Beth Shean, Jericho, Dead Sea, Masada, the Model City in Jerusalem, Holocaust Museum, Mt. of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Temple Mount, Wailing Wall, Southern Wall, Ciaphas House, Wilson Tunnel, and Garden Tomb. 

Please note: Sometimes due to weather and other circumstances, each location listed may not be available.

Trip Dates: September 10-19, 2017

Registration deadline is February 1, 2017.  If you miss the deadline - please email KimPuleo@ccv.church to inquire if there is a waiting list.

Trip Meetings -  Two meetings will be held before the trip. Dates to be determined.


What will we be doing?

Each day you will board a motor coach for several destinations. You will stop for lunch and refreshments approximately mid-day and will arrive back at your hotel in time to refresh before dinner. Breakfast and dinner are included at your hotel.

Who can go?

This trip is designed for adults but children in high school are welcome. Please contact KimPuleo@ccv.church for questions about your children traveling on this trip.

You will be staying in several different hotels. All hotels are 4 and 5 star hotels. Here is a list of the hotel websites for this tour of Israel:

What is the cost?

The cost of the trip is $1,995.00 per person based on double occupancy. This DOES NOT include round trip airfare from Phoenix to Tel Aviv. Included in your cost - hotel each night; breakfast and dinner at hotel daily; transportation by deluxe motor coach; ALL guiding and entrance fees as per itinerary; gratuities for guides, bus drivers and hotel porters. Single Supplement cost is $800.00.

You are responsible for your round trip airfare; lunch each day; drinks with meals; personal expenses (laundry, telephone, etc.); travel insurance, cost of passport (REQUIRED)*; Visa; airline baggage fees. Information on GROUP AIR and the cost will be provided at the first meeting for the trip.

*PASSPORTS: You will need a valid passport for travel. Passport cannot expire within 6 months of the trip's return date. If you need to apply for a passport for the first time or to renew your current passport, please visit travel.state.gov for applications and processes.

Are there any shots required?

There are no shots required to travel to Israel.

Registering for the trip:

A deposit of $1,000.00 per person is required. $100.00 is non-refundable. Final payment is due July 1, 2017.

Notes:

This registration process will take about 10-20 minutes to fill out. Please allow enough time to complete the whole process which will include current passport information. If you do not have a passport or you need to renew your passport, please type - WILL PROVIDE LATER. A $1,000 deposit per person is required with this registration. $100 is non-refundable.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Single Supplement add - $800.00

Deposit & Payment Policy:

$1,000.00 per person due at registration; holds your spot for this trip. Final payment is due on July 1, 2017.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Notice of cancellation MUST be received and postmarked in writing; email or letter.

$100 per person of your initial deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation after March 1, 2017 receives a penalty of $250 per person.

Cancellation after June 1, 2017 receives a penalty of $1000 per person.

Cancellation after August 1, 2017 receives a penalty of 100% of the total price per person.

Christ's Church of the Valley highly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance for this trip. Travel insurance is not included in the price of this trip.


By registering for this trip and paying the deposit at this time, you are also committing to joining the group, attending the meetings, and paying the remainder of the cost of the trip by the required due date. Failure to comply with these terms gives CCV the freedom to ask you to not participate in the trip. If the trip participant backs out of the trip after airline tickets have been purchased in their name, they will still owe CCV for the cost of that ticket.
