FAQS

What Do I Wear?

Shorts and a dark t-shirt are the best attire. Make sure to bring a change of clothes and towel.

Where Do I Go?

Baptisms are held at the baptistry on each campus. Invite family and friends to watch and encourage you in your new journey.

What Time?

Baptisms are offered at different times depending on the campus. Please see each campus specific calendar for details about dates and times. Check-in begins 15 minutes before. For information on scheduling a baptism at another time please contact us.

Who Will Baptize Me?

We invite you to have the person who led you to Christ or someone who encouraged you along the way to baptize you. Or if you would prefer, one of the CCV pastors would be happy to assist with the baptism.

Are There Any Prerequisites For Baptism?

Our Starting Point class is not required to be baptized, however, it is recommended prior to baptism. Starting Point will give you a sneak peek into the basic beliefs and practices of CCV and equip you with the essentials of the Christian faith. This class is geared for adults, Jr High and High School students. Find the next Starting Point class.

For children in 4th-6th grade we offer a Baptism for Kids class. If a child under the age of 8 is interested in being baptized, we suggest that he or she meet with a pastor prior being baptized to be sure the child fully understands the decision being made. Learn more about Baptism For Kids.

Family Dedication is a wonderful celebration publicly expressing your lifelong commitment to raise Christ Centered Difference Makers. For more information and to register for Family Dedication, click here.
