The main emphasis for our time in New Zealand will be to visit this exceptional community - work on houses they are renovating, make community garden improvements, and visit their various community enterprises - Coffee shop, laundry, and farm. We will get a true sense of community while we see how this town is combating the issues of poverty that are present.
