Pastor Rafael Robles Angarita

Pastor Rafael became a Christian in 1983. Before becoming the pastor of Biblica Koinonia, Rafael was a missionary. He led ministries in Aguachica and Chimichagua but felt called to Sevilla, Zona Bananera in 2007 to do his ministry work. Through Rafael's leadership, he has helped to connect roughly 130 people of various ages and backgrounds in a small group ministry.

Update for 7/23/2018

We are happy to be able to share with you information on the construction of our new plant in Sevilla! The new soil studies carried out by the engineer showed that the land is appropriate to build a second floor building. The Municipal City Hall of the Banana Zone granted the Church the construction license and architect Alejandro Guerrero was contracted to be the constructor of the work. Quotations of construction materials were made and materials were purchased according to those quotes and the work plan delivered by the architect. We are happy to report that the construction activity began on May 21st. From that time through early June, we worked on pouring the foundations and pouring the floor slabs. Things have been moving along very well since then and we now anticipate that construction will be complete by September. Our efforts still continue to reach our community. On Tuesday, May 29 of this year, an evangelistic service was celebrated for Mother's Day, and 80% of the mothers of the sponsored children attended. A teaching on Samuel’s mother Hannah was given, and the mothers also participated in games and gift giving.

Prayer Requests

· That the sponsored children love the child development center.
· That the parents of the sponsored children acquire a greater commitment to their children.
