Greetings Christ’s Church of the Valley! We are excited to share an update about our church!
Since our last update we have plastered the kitchen, finished countertops with sinks, we’ve been plastering bathroom walls for both girls and boys. We have finished the walls of the temple, kitchen, bathrooms and the classrooms have been painted white.
We have had a birthday celebration, we’ve done some social work, specifically a medical brigade for the vulnerable community. We have worked on decorations for the church and gave regulatory medical reviews to program participants.
It is gratifying for us to see the members of the congregation working together with the pastor for the improvement of all the infrastructure. This attitude is seen by people from the community who come to contribute their bit for the welfare of all children who are part of the program. It is necessary to highlight the great learning that we have obtained from the pastors of the mother church with their great commitment through this.
On August 4th the inauguration of the church plant took place with the visit of all those who made this dream come true. After this celebration the space is now suitable for special services, social work, special celebrations, and attention to the community for their holistic development.
We want to inform you that a large part of the population comes to the new church to find information on how to get their children into the church's program, so the church has become a recognized place at the municipal level.
Testimony from Niela Cruz España:
"Hi, God bless you greatly, I am Niela Cruz España, active member of the church Jesus El Pan de Vida in Palmira town. Today, I give a faithful testimony of the impact that the program has caused in this community because when I go out to the streets, people only talk about the program as an alternative of change and future for our community. I can also see the change that has occurred in the surroundings where the church plant is located. It used to be a garbage dump, but today people have started to build houses and businesses around the program, and our mother church has also been very supportive for the plant because many of the children's parents are attending church currently and strengthening their relationship with God. "
Prayer needed for:
1. Prayer for all the beneficiaries of the program
2. Prayer for the pastors of the church
3. Prayer for the territorial entities so that God moves them to carry out works in favor of the community
4. Prayer for God to allow us to have a good aqueduct system in the town.
