We are aligning with national standards across all CCV Stars sports (Soccer & Flag Football) to create a more consistent and balanced experience. This helps ensure players are grouped appropriately by age, improves competition, and creates a clearer long-term development path.
Age groups are based on your child’s birth year, not grade. This applies to both Soccer and Flag Football. Divisions will be structured as 6U, 8U, 10U, etc.
The cutoff runs August 1 – July 31 for all CCV Stars sports. Your child’s age on August 1 determines their division

No. We no longer offer a Comp Flag Football division. The Advanced League is a new program, built with a different structure and focus on long-term player development and competition.

You will receive a notification through PlayMetrics.
Tryouts are important for proper placement. Players who do not attend may not be placed in the Advanced League.
They will automatically be placed in the Recreational League.
Once teams are finalized, players who make a team will receive a uniform ordering link via PlayMetrics. Rec players will reuse jersey from last season.
