CCV supports the Rocky Point Medical Clinic by sending medical teams to run a full day medical clinic in their community-based facility. This clinic provides free medical care to the poor and underserved neighborhoods of Rocky Point and surrounding towns who do not have adequate access to medical care.

The clinics primary need is for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Dentists, Optometrists, and PT/OT. Nursing needed but limited to a smaller number and other medical staff will fill support roles in various capacities. Limited spots available for non medical individuals (1-2 per trip)- these individuals will fill support roles (clinic organization, participate in planned group activities with the local children). Spanish speaking a plus but not necessary. Translators will be provided for non Spanish speaking providers.

Trip Dates: October 11th - 13th

Cost: $75.00, due at time of registration

Included: Accommodation for Friday and Saturday night. Friday night dinner in not included please expect to pay around $15 for your meal. Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast will be provided.

    Friday the team will carpool/caravan departing around 12pm arriving in Rocky Point by 5pm. 

    Saturday will be full day, one day clinic. 8:30-4:00pm A team lunch and dinner will be provided.

    Sunday you can depart at your convenience however the team typically departs around 7:00am and arrives back in Phoenix around 12pm.  Continental breakfast will be provided.

Transportation: Transportation is not provided.  However, we will do our very best to minimize the amount of cars/drivers needed.  We will need volunteers to drive.   Mexico insurance is required for any vehicle driven with in the country (typically the cost of insurance and gas will be split in between the passengers riding in the car). You can obtain Mexico car insurance through your local agent or can purchase online.

Lodging: You will stay at a local hotel/resort or VRBO

Requirements:

• Passport: A valid passport is required for travel to Mexico. Your passport cannot expire within 6 months of the trip's return date.
• 18+ years of age, this is an adult only trip
• Attendance at CCV's Starting Point class
• CCV's Background Check

Zoom meeting to go over trip details will take place one week prior to trip. Zoom link will be provide closer to the time of the trip.
