For the last 16 years he has served the Lord as a Pastor. Currently, he is accredited as a liscenced pastor by the denomination and has a good testimony and positive references from other pastors in the denomination. He has two children and together with his wife will develop the pastoral work in Riogrande.

Update for 11/1/2018

Greetings Christ’s Church of the Valley! I am excited to share what the Lord has allowed us to finish so far. We have completely finished the excavating, the filling of rooms, the ground foundation, and the wall elevation. Currently, we are finishing the roof construction. We have been working hard! Pastor Marcos Sibaja has been very committed to the work; fasting with the leadership and the sponsored kids' parents for the new plant. He has been making empowerment visits with a society committee to the sponsored kids' households. They have held Sunday school with the kids. They have also held prayer times with the mother church and daughter church for the new plant headed by their pastors Jose Ruiz Acosta and Marcos Sibaja. We have encountered difficulties in transporting materials because the roads are not paved, and heavy rains have caused landslides and the cars are stagnant. We have achieved a plan with the community in hauling the material to where the work is located, we thank the Lord for this. In the next sixty days we will be working on finishing the roof, walls and the floor. We are so thankful to the Lord for showing us his immense love through this new plantation in one of the most vulnerable places in our population. The church and the community have seen the impact that this program has brought to their lives, generating changes and great joy in our children. We trust the Lord and his immense love so far by allowing us to benefit from this beautiful program; we will not tire of saying thank you to those people who have put a grain of sand to everything we are seeing now where there was nothing.
