The new Advanced League is for dedicated athletes seeking higher competition and development. Entry is through tryouts, with twice-weekly training and competition in seasonal games and tournaments. Our Fall Season is underway with a great turnout of athletes looking to compete! CCV Stars will be accepting new players following the Recreational Flag Season. Tryouts/Evaluations TBD 

  • Evaluations are used to help place kids in the appropriate level of play.
  • Team Placement: Teams will be designed to create a competitive balance across each division while also striving to keep a community focus for friends & coaches.

Season Overview

  • Practice: Twice a week for 60 minutes (M-Th) 
  • Skill/Physio Training: Twice a week for 30 minutes
  • Seasons: Season will run from August to March (TBD)
  • Games: Teams will play a fall & spring season with postseason tournaments

Registration Details

  • Registration fee: $175 with additional fees upon team placement.
  • Registration fee matches the Recreational League fee, guaranteeing your athlete's spot in the Recreational League if they are not placed in the Advanced League. 
  • Equipment needed: footwear, football

Q: What is the Advanced League?

A: A competitive league designed for players who are ready for a higher level of play, development, and commitment.

Q: Did this replace the Comp League?

A: No. We no longer offer a Comp Flag Football division. The Advanced League is a new program, built with a different structure and focus on long-term player development and competition.

Q: How do players join the Advanced League?

A:

- Players must attend evaluations/tryouts

- Teams are formed based on skill, athleticism, and football IQ

Q: When are Advanced League tryouts?

A: Tryouts will be held on June 18 and June 23. Please visit our website for times, locations, and registration details.

Q: How will I know if my child makes a team?

A: You will receive a notification through PlayMetrics.

Q: What if my child can’t attend tryouts?

A: Tryouts are important for proper placement. Players who do not attend may not be placed in the Advanced League.

Q: What happens if my child doesn’t make an Advanced team?

A: They will automatically be placed in the Recreational League.

Q: What is the time commitment?

A:

- 2 practices per week (1hour) and a 30 minute training each day. (Total 1.5 each day)

- Games + potential tournaments (Fri/Sat)

- Season runs from August through mid-March (with holiday breaks)

Q: What uniform will Advanced players wear?

A: Once teams are finalized, players who make a team will receive a uniform ordering link via PlayMetrics. 

Q: What makes Advanced different from Recreational?

A:
