If you’ve made a commitment to Christ, it’s time to take the next step and make your decision known. Baptism is the best way to express your faith and reflect your life change.

What Do I Need To Bring?

Shorts that you are comfortable getting in the water with. We will provide a CHANGED Shirt and a Towel.

Where do I go?

Baptisms are held at the CCV Baptistery on each campus. Depending on the campus, check in may be near the baptistery or at the Next Steps Center. Lookout for the specific location for your campus in the confirmation email you receive. Invite family and friends to watch and encourage you in your new journey.

What time?

Check-in begins 15 minutes before.

Who will baptize me?

We invite you to have the person who led you to Christ or someone who encouraged you along the way to baptize you. Or, if you would prefer, we will have someone available who would be happy to assist with the baptism.

Are there any prerequisites for baptism?

Jr High and High School Age: We encourage Jr High and High School students to talk to their Student Pastor or Coach and register online or through the CCV App.

Children Grade 4–6: Baptism for Kids is a recommended class for kids to attend with their parents prior to being baptized. If the child is under the age of 8 it is suggested that he or she meet with a pastor before being baptized. This is suggested so that the child will fully understand the decision he or she is making Learn more.
